It's been a busy summer ....
POOL FILTER REPLACEMENT Over the July 4th weekend one of the pool filters (the older filter) cracked and was no longer functional. The part was ordered last week, and will be installed on Tuesday, July 16th. Pool should be open on Wednesday the 17th provided there are no issues with the installation. (UPDATE - Pool should open on Friday the 19th) FISHING DOCK RELOCATION Fishing dock has been relocated after being in the "queue" for over 3 months to have it towed back into position. One of the cables needed to be replaced and a new anchor had to be purchased. Many thanks to Tony, Kenny and Rocky for their work on shore while the crew was here, and to Mark Myrick for assisting with tree trimming. ROADS/ SPEEDHUMPS Because of the rain, all paving companies are backed up with months of work. The company contracted to do the speed humps is no longer able to do our project, but we have reached out to a new asphalt company and hope to get this project back on track. They are still on at least a 3 week lead time. Many of you have asked about the rubber bumps - please know that we have investigated them and for many reasons have determined that asphalt is a better solution for the neighborhood. (UPDATE - Speed humps have been installed. Reminder: 20mph people! Thanks to Tony and Kenny for adding orange stripes to remind you) ROAD REPAIR DISCUSSION - Saturday July 20th 9am - 10am Please join us to discuss various options to begin repairing and maintaining the subdivision roads to minimize further erosion, and improve neighborhood safety. We will share cost information and solicit input from the Lakeside Beach Community.
