Highlights of 2019 Annual Meeting

Congratulations to 2019-20 Board Officers

Officer remain unchanged for the coming fiscal year.  The Board will meet on Thursday, April 18th to vote on who will hold which office on the board, and to discuss the annual budget for 2019-2020.  All community members are welcome.  Congratulations and thank you to our continuing board members:  Mike Roberts, Jessie Iselt, Rocky Grimes, Brooke Bulow, Karen Bruett

Road Repair & Maintenance

A special meeting will be scheduled later this year to discuss how to handle and fund road repair and maintenance on an ongoing basis and to give the community an opportunity to talk to different contractors.  Meeting notice will be sent via regular mail and email.

Covenant (Deed Restriction) Revisions

A large portion of the meeting was spent discussing the importance of enforcing our covenants/deed restrictions and the need to update them in 2020.  The deed restrictions that Lakeside Beach currently operates under were established in 1961/1963.  Times have changed, but our restrictions have not, and we are beginning a year long effort to draft and vote on changes to those covenants.   A task force of community members will be working on this project and we will keep people informed along the way. 

Committee Volunteers

As the community grows, the board needs more help and involvement from the neighborhood.  To that end, we have created 3 new committees: a Social Committee; a Neighborhood Beautification Committee; and a Security and Compliance Committee.  Thank you to everyone who as volunteered.  Committee meetings will be set up soon!
